Sylvia Rogers Caldwell McAllister Granddaughter of Cynthia Jane Hoggard |

| Born in 1900 in Indian Territory to George Bertran Rogers and Bessie Fremont Rodgers, she never knew her grandfather, Silas Green Rogers who died in 1898. 'Gem', as she was nicknamed by sisters, was raised in Rhea, Dewey Co, OK and visited her grandmother out near Byers often. My Granny Gem always told us, "You have a little bit of Indian blood in you from my family and don't you forget it." At 98 she lives alone, staunch in her will to do so, and so typical of the strength and spirit of pioneer women.
